SANDAKAN: Residents of Kampung Gelam Laut, Karamunting, are glad that the 60-foot wooden bridge connecting their area to the surau has been upgraded to a concrete one.

Karamunting Assemblyman Datuk George Hiew said the bridge upgrade project was funded using his allocation in response to complaints from residents about the dilapidated and unsafe condition of the wooden bridge.
