SANDAKAN: Local government councillors have been urged to carry out their duties with integrity, transparency, and fairness, particularly in addressing community issues.
Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih said councillors should also contribute high-impact ideas to help shape effective district-level policies.
He congratulated the newly appointed Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) members and encouraged them to collaborate fully for the town’s progress in development, economy, and public service.
