SANDAKAN: The victims of Kampung Gas fire in Jalan Batu Sapi want the authorities to expedite the building of the Poor People’s Housing Project, which was promised to them after their homes were destroyed by fire on June 27, 2018.
According to Persatuan Warga Batu Sapi Chairperson Rahimah Asrah and 118 households affected by the fire, the housing project had been approved, but work had yet to begin.
During a recent discussion with local authorities, they expressed hopes that the project would begin soon.
