SANDAKAN: Libaran Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaimi Nasir urged the Government to establish a camp for the General Operations Force (GOF) 15th Battalion here.
He said 15th Battalion was founded in 1992, but to date, is only renting a shophouse as its headquarters.
“It is urgent for the government to adopt the plan for the establishment of a camp for the battalion though the Home Affairs Ministry,” he said when debating the 2023 Budget at the Dewan Rakyat.
Suhaimi said that a 100-acre site is available for the camp’s construction.
