SANDAKAN: A shoplot selling agricultural equipment was 80 per cent destroyed in a fire in Bandar Tyng, Batu 6, on Friday.
Sandakan Fire and Rescue Department Operations Centre received an emergency call via Mers 999 at about 12.27am and rushed to the location with 15 fire and rescue personnel.
The rescue team personnel used water from the machinery tank. The fire was under control at 12.58am and ended at 1.03am with no injury reported. The cause is still under investigation.
