MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan Third Division on Friday granted the bail application of former senator Ramon Revilla Jr. in the malversation case linked to the alleged P92.8-million ghost flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan, ruling that the prosecution failed to establish that the evidence of his guilt is strong.
In a resolution promulgated on July 31, 2026, the anti-graft court ordered Revilla’s provisional release upon posting the required cash bond, unless he is being held for another legal ground.
The Sandiganbayan, however, denied the bail applications of co-accused Brice Ericson Diaz Hernandez, Jaypee De Leon Mendoza, Arjay Salvador Domasig, Emelita Capistrano Juat, Juanito Coronel Mendoza, and Christina Mae Del Rosario Pineda, saying the evidence of their guilt on the same charge remains strong.
