- Sandra Bullock has revealed she remembers nothing about winning her Best Actress Academy Award in 2010 for The Blind Side because she was secretly caring for a newborn at the time.
- The actor explained during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark that she had only slept for around two hours on the night of the ceremony due to her newly adopted son, Louis, suffering from acid reflux.
- Bullock kept the adoption hidden from the public until April 2010, meaning no one at the Oscars or the after-parties knew she was desperate to get home to feed her infant son.
- Describing the overwhelming evening, she recalled sitting on the floor in her formal gown upon returning home, holding baby Louis on her lap whilst her Oscar trophy sat on the floor beside them.
- Bullock brought up Louis, who is now 16, as a single mother following her split from Jesse James, and later expanded her family by adopting her daughter Laila, who is now 13.
