Kota Kinabalu: The controversy surrounding the Malaysian identification document of Sabah MIC Chief Peer Mohamad bin Kadir is a non-issue because all appointments by the party are properly vetted for any wrongdoing.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Sabah chapter’s two-day annual meeting, Saturday, MIC Deputy President Datuk Murugan Savaranan said:
“MIC considers the MyKad of Peer Mohamad a non-issue because many genuine ICs were issued in Sabah during the helm of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad as the country’s Prime Minister”.
