Continuing its commitment to social welfare, Sarbat Da Bhala Foundation, Phagwara, organised its 68th monthly ration distribution programme under the leadership of foundation president Karamvir Arora. The event was attended by foundation chairman VP Singh Arora as the chief guest, while philanthropist Swaran Singh, participated as the special guest.
During the programme, monthly ration kits were distributed to 70 underprivileged families. Addressing the gathering, Swaran Singh appreciated the foundation’s continuous humanitarian efforts and said that helping the needy not only brings inner peace but also earns the blessings of the Almighty.
Speaking on the occasion, VP Singh Arora said the foundation not only provides monthly ration assistance but also extends support for the marriages of daughters from economically weaker families and offers financial aid to deserving students for their education. He expressed gratitude to Atul Joshi, Pramod Joshi, Ranjit Singh Kindra and Kulwinder Sembhi for supporting the foundation’s social service activities.
The speakers lauded the efforts of Sarbat Da Bhala Foundation and encouraged socially responsible individuals to contribute towards welfare activities such as ration donation and assistance to the needy.
