Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali admits AS Roma are targeting Davide Frattesi.
Sassuolo are seeking €25m for the midfielder.
“We have a very good rapport with Roma, we've done several deals together, so if Roma really want to sign this important young man who is already in the national team, they need to match the value that we have given him," Carnevali told Sky Italia.
“It is a fair market value. We'll see what happens.
"I told Tiago Pinto we could put the Frattesi issue on a shelf for a moment and discuss the many young players we could bring in from Roma."
