KUALA LUMPUR: A pupil’s direct complaint to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim about broken toilets at SK Long Jaafar in Kamunting, Perak, led to swift action, with repairs completed within two days.
The issue was raised on March 14 during Anwar’s visit to the Kamunting Ramadan Bazaar, where the pupil informed him that two toilets were broken while two remained functional.
By March 16, the toilets were fully repaired, as confirmed by Anwar’s political secretary, Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, on social media.
A 25-second video posted by Kamil included images verifying the completed repairs, highlighting the government’s commitment to addressing public concerns promptly.
Anwar has repeatedly emphasised the importance of swiftly addressing urgent concerns, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to responsive governance.
