Scotland are ready to make a new attempt for Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon.
Gordon was again overlooked by England coach Gareth Southgate for this week's squad selection.
The Scouser also qualifies for Scotland and the Daily Record says they plan a new attempt to convince Gordon about committing to the Tartan Army.
Gordon was born on Merseyside but qualifies for Scotland through his paternal grandparents.
Scotland are also eyeing his Newcastle teammates Tino Livramento and Harvey Barnes.
