
SEMPORNA: The Search and Rescue Operation (SAR) for a 33-year-old man reported missing while fishing near the bridge at Kampung Bukit Lalang, last Sunday, is still ongoing.
The State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the operation involved rescue agencies using a rescue boat and Navy’s jet ski who searched within the radius of 2km from the area where the victim was reported missing.

On Monday, the department started the search for a man identified as Badrul Rizam Hajis, who failed to return home after heading out for fishing on Feb 16.
