Sebastien Pocognoli names six uncapped players in first Scotland squad

  • New Scotland manager Sebastien Pocognoli named his first squad since replacing Steve Clarke on Tuesday.
  • He called up six uncapped players, including Hearts winger Josh McPake, Swansea defender Stephen Welsh and Brondby defender Luis Binks.
  • Celtic right-back Colby Donovan, Stoke centre-back Luke Graham and Sevilla forward Robbie Ure have also been named in the squad.
  • Hull striker Oli McBurnie is also back in the squad, having not played for Scotland in over five years. Pocognoli has called up 28 players for Scotland’s Nations League fixtures, with the team due to face Slovenia twice, Switzerland and North Macedonia.
