Second custodial death in Taiping Prison in less than a month, family wants answers

M. Vijian, 30, is the second inmate from Taiping Prison to have died in recent weeks. On Jan 17, another inmate, 62-year-old Gan Chin Eng, died following alleged "riots" within the prison walls involving some 60 prison wardens and 100 detainees.
