In the last seven nights of Ramadan, as Muslims seek forgiveness and mercy from Allah, it's a poignant moment to reflect on our collective actions and their implications. This year, as we offer our prayers, let us not forget to seek forgiveness for our fellow Malaysians and our nation as a whole.
Firstly, let us ask for forgiveness for Dr. Akmal Saleh, whose passionate speeches, though well-intentioned, have sometimes caused misunderstandings. May Allah guide him back to the right path and grant him the wisdom to seek forgiveness for any transgressions.
We must also seek forgiveness for some who resorted to violence, such as those who threw Molotov cocktails at KK Mart outlets. While we pray for their forgiveness, we must also recognise that they must be held accountable for their actions on earth.
Let us also pray for forgiveness for KK Chai and management of KK Mart, who inadvertently made mistakes that caused offense. May they learn from these mistakes and seek forgiveness from both the people and the Almighty.
As we express our gratitude for the government's efforts, including their aid to civil servants and pensioners, let us also pray that they will be guided by Allah's mercy and be aware of any misdeeds within their ranks.
Additionally, let us seek forgiveness for our non-Muslim brethren who may have been unkind to us, while also recognising and rewarding those who have shown kindness and charity to the less fortunate.
Lastly, let us seek forgiveness for all voters who may feel regretful or unhappy with their choices. May Allah guide them to find contentment and peace in their decisions.
In this holy month and the coming Hari Raya, let us all strive to be more forgiving and understanding, both to ourselves and to others, remembering that Allah loves to forgive.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri 2024. #Pray for Gaza.
