Seiko is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Steven Spielberg film JAWS with a new Prospex Turtle.
Probably the last film you’d want to be thinking about when diving in the ocean, this limited-edition Seiko Prospex Turtle (Ref. SRPL81) takes the iconic Roger Kastel JAWS movie poster and incorporates it into the dial.

Limited to 5,000 examples, this is one of the more exciting Seiko Prospex Turtles to date. While there is a following for the special edition Turtle releases (the watch gets its nickname from the turtle shell-like case), this one goes another level deeper with a its dial in the form of a raised red “JAWS” logo, textured pattern to distinguish the shark, sky, and sea, and this blue gradient colour for the transition from sea to air.

This watch maintains the thematic water colour scheme with the use of a navy bezel insert and rubber strap. The solid caseback is also stamped with the Orca boat from the film, the customary Tsunami logo, and the edition number of the watch. The watch contains the 4R36 calibre movement, which will give you 41 hours of power reserve, and the watch is good up to depths of 200 metres in water.
