Norway striker Erling Haaland's double in the 4-1 World Cup win against Iraq made the ground actually shake back home due to celebrating fans jumping up and down, the seismological institute Norsar said.
A seismometer in the Norwegian city of Bergen measured "clear signals" after his goals in the 29th and 43rd minutes of Tuesday's game in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
"When many people react at the same time to major sporting moments, their combined movements can produce vibrations in the ground that are registered by sensitive seismometers," Norsar said in a statement.
Norway are at their first men's World Cup since 1998.
