KUALA LUMPUR – Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) communications chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos is in hospital after collapsing at a programme he attended last night.
His son Amin Daniel told Utusan Malaysia that Jamal had been at a BN programme in Sg Besar where he suddenly collapsed.
The Sg Besar Umno chief is at the Prince Court Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
“My father collapsed suddenly, and I brought him to Prince Court myself,” Amin was quoted as saying.
Jamal was made Selangor BN communications chief in a reshuffle last month that saw Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz replace him as state BN treasurer.
According to Utusan, Jamal has had a previous brush with lung cancer and is again under monitoring for the disease. – The Vibes, September 18, 2022
