KUALA LUMPUR – Selangor Barisan Nasional communications chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos is reportedly in the hospital after collapsing at an event he attended last night.
According to a report from Utusan Malaysia, Jamal’s Amin Daniel said his father had been attending a BN programme at Sungai Besar when he abruptly passed out.
“My father suddenly collapsed thus I brought him to Prince Court (Medical Centre) myself,” he said.
The son also told the Malay daily that his father was receiving medical care at the hospital at the moment.
It was previously reported that Jamal was diagnosed with lung cancer and under treatment.
Jamal is also the Sungai Besar Umno Division chief.
