Selangor FC thrash KL City FC 3-0 to extend their winning streak, while DPMM FC edge Sabah FC 2-1 in the Super League

PETALING JAYA: Selangor FC extended their winning streak after beating Kuala Lumpur City (KL City) FC 3-0 in their Super League match at Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium here tonight.

Selangor’s A Selvan opened accounts in the 25th minute, while Chrigor Moraes added the team’s second just six minutes after the second half, and Eduardo Sosa crowned Selangor’s win with the third goal in the 73rd minute.

Selangor is third behind Kuching City FC, both with 12 points but with a game in hand, while Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) is leading the league with 15 points.

Meanwhile, Sabah FC lost 1-2 to DPMM FC at home in Likas Stadium, Kota Kinabalu tonight.

The result was 1-1 at the end of the first half, with DPMM FC’s Ebenezer Abban (12th minute) and Gonzalo Di Renzo of Sabah (25th minute) scoring a goal each for their respective teams.

DPMM then scored their winning goal in the 65th minute, thanks to a shot outside the penalty box by Jordan Murray.

Both teams currently have six points, but Sabah is fourth, just one spot ahead of DPMM, thanks to better goal difference after four matches.
