Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe is encouraging his fringe players to find new clubs.

The Daily Mail says Dwight Gayle, Jeff Hendrick and Ciaran Clark are training with the club's U23 squad.

All three players are available for transfer this summer.

Striker Gayle is wanted by Watford and Birmingham City. The Hornets are also keen on defender Clark, as are Sheffield United.

Midfielder Hendrick, meanwhile, could be in line for a move to Reading. He was with QPR last season on-loan.
