SHAH ALAM, May 20 - A senior police officer from the Selangor Criminal Investigation Department died after reportedly falling from a building at Vista Alam in Section 14 here early today.
In a statement, Selangor police chief Dato’ Shazeli Kahar said the Shah Alam district police headquarters’ control centre was alerted to the incident at 3.07am.
“The victim was confirmed dead at the scene and the case has been classified as sudden death, pending post mortem results,” he said today.
Selangor police expressed their deepest condolences to the deceased’s family and urged the public not to spread speculations on the incident to the point of interfering with the investigation.
