Sepiring brings flavours of Penang to its menu

One of Sepiring's signature platters, Nyonya Nasi Ulam where the rice is garnished with chicken serunding, served with ayam percik, accompanied by kerabu kacang botol, salted egg and keropok lekor.

Sepiring, a homegrown and Halal-certified restaurant known for its uniquely Malaysian culinary offerings, has come up with the latest menu additions which are Hokkien Prawn Mee and Rosy Nyor Float.

These additions, with their burst of traditional flavours, will be available until Sept 15.

Sepiring Cafe chief executive officer Wong Kah Yong said that as Penang is renowned for its street food with flavours perfected over generations, Sepiring ensures that customers experience Penang without compromising on quality and nostalgia.

"We chose to honour Penang because its food is universally loved and reflects the rich cultural tapestry of Malaysia," he said.

"At Sepiring, we are delighted to introduce the new Hokkien Prawn Mee and Rosy Nyor Float that continue our tradition of bringing together the diverse flavours of Malaysia, yet delivering a vibrant and savoury experience.

Sepiring's new addition to Uniquely Rasa Penang food series -- Hokkien Prawn Mee which will be available until Sept 15.

The new limited-time dishes will also be accompanied by other local favourites such as Pasembur, a heart mix of vegetables, seafood and fritters; Penang Rojak, a tangy fruit and vegetable salad; Penang Assam Laksa, a tangy and spicy noodle soup; and Sago Cendol, a refreshing dessert with pandan-flavoured rice flour jelly topped with sweet palm sugar syrup.

Since its establishment, Sepiring has celebrated the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Malaysia, bringing people together through its meticulously curated menu, featuring a harmonious blend of flavours from all corners of the country where the new menu items continue the tradition, offering both innovative and authentic Malaysian tastes.
