Sergi Roberto is has agreed terms with Barcelona over a new deal.
The 31 year-old defensive utility has responded 'yes' to Barcelona's proposal to continue for another year, until 2024, with an option for another season depending on variables.
The documentation is being processed and in a few days it is expected to be officially announced. A renewal endorsed by the sports area, with Xavi Hernndez at the head, given the good performances the player has produced this season.
Roberto has shown that he has fully recovered from his injury and is in good physical shape.
He has played at right-back, but he has also played in midfielder and even as a defensive midfielder, as in the Copa del Rey match in Ceuta.
