Seri Setia to build, upgrade covered walkway to LRT station

PETALING JAYA, March 3— More facilities and infrastructure in the Seri Setia State Assembly will be built and upgraded for the convenience of residents.

Seri Setia State assemblyman Dr Fahmi Ngah said these include building more covered footpaths around the Glenmarie Light Rail Transit (LRT) Station and the Paradigm shopping centre.

“I will discuss this proposal with the Petaling Jaya mayor because it will provide comfort and convenience for residents and visitors.

“In addition, the footpaths will also be equipped with streetlights to enhance safety aspects,” he said when officiating at the Seri Setia state assembly level Chinese New Year open house at Kelana Mall, yesterday.

More than 600 visitors of various nationalities attended the celebration.

Also present were Bukit Lanjan State assemblyman Pua Pei Ling, Rawang assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat and Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng Mei Sze.

At the same event, Dr Fahmi also spent time presenting ang pau contributions to the elderly and children.
