The Serian district police headquarters in Sarawak registered an unhealthy Air Pollutant Index reading of 152 at 8 am.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Serian district police headquarters (IPD) in Sarawak recorded an Air Pollutant Index (API) reading of 152, an unhealthy level as of 8 am today.
According to the Air Pollutant Index Management System (APIMS) portal, 59 areas nationwide recorded API readings at a moderate level, while eight areas recorded readings at a good level.
API readings of 0 to 50 indicate good air quality, 51 to 100 moderate, 101 to 200 unhealthy, 201 to 300 very unhealthy, and readings above 300 are considered hazardous.
