TAWAU: Several areas here were hit by flash floods after hours of incessant rain today.
Miles 2 and 4 Jalan Apas, Kongsi 8, Taman Semarak and several housing parks on Jalan Sin Onn were among the areas flooded.
A main drain on Jalan Apas overflowed and sent water flooding nearby areas.
A car went off the road and dove into a drain in the Sin Onn areas, luckily its woman driver and a kid were rescued by members of the public.
