Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli says he's excited facing Real Madrid this weekend.
Sampaoli insists he welcomed the "challenge" early into his tenure.
“I am very excited about the game and I really want it to be played," said the Argentine. "Imagine if we were scared to the Bernabéu, how would we get out of there... We are going to play a game, or we will try to play a game if the rival allows it, very boldly. We will try. Then development puts you in your place or not.
"I hope for a game that we can get a star in from somewhere.
“There are two readings about a team like Real Madrid. Sometimes it ends up being an unpredictable team in the game because they don't have fixed positions, because they occupy empty spaces very well, they have very well read vertical moments... Having players who have the ability not to lose the ball and have the chance to structure defensively before they break down is the idea of the game. If not, it will become very complicated.
"The biggest situation we can handle is control of the ball, of the game. But if we relate to the game from the order of the game, the chances will arrive."
