Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor recently paid tribute to a man who tragically passed away after being involved in an accident while on his way to the mosque.

In a statement, the hospital shared that despite the tragic accident that claimed Mr Satar’s life, he and his family had left behind a meaningful gift through his organ donation.

Sungai Buloh Hospital pays tribute to late man for selfless organ donation

Mr Satar and his family generously donated his corneal tissue to the hospital, in the hope of giving a new lease of life to someone in need.

“Staff at Sungai Buloh Hospital expressed their deepest condolences and appreciation following the passing of the late Mr Satar. Despite the tragic accident that claimed his life, the deceased and his family have left behind a meaningful act of charity through their donation of corneal tissue, giving new hope to those in need,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, a video showed hospital staff lining the corridors to pay their final respects to Mr Satar as he was being taken away.

A green light shone in honour of the late donor

Later in the video, the hospital building could be seen glowing green, marking the completion of an organ donation procedure.

According to local media, the green light serves as a quiet reminder of the “gift of life” a donor who has passed away has given to someone in need.

“The hospital also expressed its gratitude to the deceased’s family and the tissue procurement team involved. May this good deed continue to bring lasting rewards, and may the deceased be placed among the righteous and faithful.”
