Several main roads in Shah Alam will close from 4am to 11am on November 29 for the Malaysia Vibe Fest half marathon event.
SHAH ALAM: Several main roads around the city will close in stages for the 2025 Malaysia Vibe Fest Half Marathon on November 29.
The Shah Alam City Council announced the closures will occur from 4.00 am until 11.00 am to accommodate runners in the 5km, 10km and 21km categories.
Affected routes include roads around I-City, Jalan Plumbum, Persiaran Permai and Persiaran Kayangan.
Other impacted areas are Persiaran Selangor, Persiaran Damai, Persiaran Masjid and Bulatan Bestari.
Section 7, Section 14 and several major junctions will also experience closures during the event.
MBSA has advised motorists to plan their journeys and use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
“The public’s cooperation is highly appreciated,” the council stated.
Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted according to the official announcement. – Bernama
