PUTATAN: Voters in Sabah, particularly in the Putatan and Tanjung Keramat constituencies, have been urged to fulfil their civic duty by turning out to vote on Nov 29.
Putatan MP Datuk Shahelmey Yahya said while voting is a cornerstone of democracy, voters should also consider the government’s capacity to provide stability, good governance and sustained progress.
He said such consideration helps ensure the continuity of a people-centred government focused on economic growth and improving living standards.
Shahelmey made the call after officiating at the Tanjung Keramat Madani Community's Evergreen Songs Talenttime at Dataran Tomoi on Saturday.
He said the event, jointly organised by local committees and the Putatan Parliamentary Office, provides an ideal platform for nurturing artistic talent and strengthening community bonds.
