Kota Kinabalu: Christmas carolling activities organised by different groups of the Kota Kinabalu Sacred Heart Cathedral were carried out from Dec 5 to 16. For two consecutive years, Sacred Heart Cathedral did not have the opportunity to do the traditional house-to-house carolling due to the Covid pandemic.
Picture shows members of the Filipino carolling group “Comunidad Ng Mga Filipino Charismatic (CFC)” belting out Christmas jingles at one of the homes they visited recently.
“We are thankful to Kota Kinabalu Sacred Heart Parish and the Sabah Government for the opportunity given to us to bring and share the Christmas spirit and joy to our brothets and sisters in the Christian world and other faithful,” CFC member Junie Abejo Pliego said.
“Christmas is the time for sharing love, and peace. This year-end festive season is the ideal time for everyone to reflect on our journey in 2022 and gain perspective,” the self-employed furniture maker said.
