Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom says he's speaking with senior players about their contract situation.
Wes Foderingham, Ollie Norwood and Oli McBurnie are all coming off contract in June.
Heckingbottom told the Sheffield Star: Yeah, I've spoken to them all.
It's not straightforward. A lot of players are in a position where it might not suit them to be tied down to longer contracts, but that's always risky from a player's point of view. You're well within your rights.
"The club wasn't in a position to offer before, but now they are, and people will only sign if everyone's happy. Club, player, families. Conversations are ongoing."
