Sheffield United defender Chris Basham feels they'll be stronger after defeat to Crystal Palace.
Odsonne Edouard struck the only goal of the game for Palace's 1-0 win.
Basham later said: "We've had to change a lot of things and had to bring in players that probably weren't expecting to play or to play in that position.
"[Palace] were good, they're a top end Premier League side, but we gave everything that we've got. We maybe gave a lot of fight and determination but there wasn't enough quality at the end of it.
"We could walk off the pitch with our heads held high and hopefully we can take that into the coming weeks."
