An agreement to sell Manchester United is on track for November.

The Sun says the Glazer family are willing to sell to Sheikh Jassim, who has been conducting due diligence in recent weeks.

The Qatari has jumped ahead of rival Sir Jim Racliffe in the bid battle.

A bid of 6bn has been accepted and there is the belief the club will be in the process of being sold in November, with Sheikh Jassim taking control before Christmas.

A world record 900m kit deal with Adidas isn't expected to stall the sale, despite claims the Glazers could use the agreement to raise the club's sale price.
