Sheikh Jassim is being linked with a move for West Ham United.
After failing in his takeover bid for Manchester United, Sheikh Jassim remains keen to buy into the Premier League.
The Times says West Ham have piqued his interest with the Gold family announcing plans to sell part of their stake in the club.
A 10 per cent stake has been put up for sale by Vanessa Gold, the daughter of the club's late joint-chairman David Gold, who died in January. The Gold family holds a 25 per cent shareholding.
It's claimed the Gold family would sell up for the right price.
