SEREMBAN: A video of five siblings surprising their mother while she was working as a street sweeper has gone viral after being shared on TikTok by user @santhiya_nila.

The siblings surprised their mother, M Kavita, on her 50th birthday while she was carrying out her duties, fulfilling her long-held wish to see her youngest child dressed in a pilot's uniform.

The surprise took about a month to organise and was a gesture of appreciation for their mother's sacrifices in raising the family.

Kavita has worked as a street sweeper for more than 12 years and continues to do so despite her children's success, saying she prefers to remain independent.
