Register to be part of the super exclusive Hermès Kite Festival on 17th and 18th May 2025, happening at Sentul Pavilion Kuala Lumpur – and it’s free for everyone.

Do you know how to fly a kite? Or simply enjoy watching kites fly in the sky? Here’s your chance to make your very own kite and catch the Hermès scarf taking flight in the sky. Mark your calendars on 17th and 18th May 2025 because the Hermes Kite Festival is where you need to be.

Since the inaugural Hermès Kite Festival in Indonesia in October 2022 and the second edition in Sunset Beach View, Dubai in February 2023 — marking the start of a series of joyful moments and strong camaraderie — the event now makes its third stop in Malaysia this May 2025 – bringing its vibrant display at the stunning Sentul Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.

The Hermes silk scarves, first created in 1937, will be transformed into kites for the Hermes Kite Festival. The iconic prints and designs will take over the sky in its full and colourful glory – a sight not to be missed.

Plumets et Panaches, Robe Légère and sur Mon Nuage scarves will spin new tales as they glide through the air. Bandanas, lozenges and shawls will be turned into novel flying objects. Here, both the women’s and men’s silk collections will come together in a courtship dance in the clouds. Expect workshops where you can experience making your own kite, and perch benches where you can sit and marvel at the vivacious display.

Here’s what you can expect at the Hermes Kite Festival:

Kite Workshop

Flying School and Kite Contest

Learn to fly these unique kites and launch them into the sky for exciting races. Beginner kite flyers will also find out how to play with the wind, getting these scarves to fly high in the sky.

Aerial Choreographies

Be dazzled at the sight of aerial demonstration by professional kite flyers on-site as the spectacular kites form novel ballets in the air.
