Manchester United hero Mikael Silvestre believes there are a few issues for new management to sort at the club.
INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to purchase 25 percent of the Red Devils in the coming weeks.
With the January transfer window nearing, Silvestre believes some decisions have to be made regarding incomings and outgoings.
"The January transfer window is always tricky," Silvestre told The Express and bettingexpert.com.
"There won't be many opportunities because it's a window in which you react.
"It's difficult to get what you want at the price you want, and the quality you want. You have to assess and see if there is something that can be done.
"Right now there are a lot of injuries and I think the transfer window in January is not the one you focus on. You can do some bits and pieces but it's really minimal. I don't see who could come to United and make that team better.
"Players good enough to improve that team are already playing in their current situations. I believe the return of [Lisandro] Martinez and other long-term injuries will give the team a better chance to improve over the second part of the season."
