If your social media feed has been unusually quiet lately, you may have missed one of the bigger concert announcements to hit Malaysian shores this year. Simple Plan is returning to Kuala Lumpur in November 2026 as part of their global ‘The Bigger Than You Think!’ world tour, and tickets are going on sale very soon.

The multi-platinum band have built a reputation for crowd-driven live shows, and this tour is expected to be no different. The setlist will span their entire career, which means you can expect breakout hits like Welcome to My Life, Perfect, and I’d Do Anything alongside fan favourites and, reportedly, some rarely performed cuts. Whether you have been listening to them since the early 2000s or only recently discovered them, there should be plenty to sing along to.

Here is everything you need to know before you hit that checkout button.

Simple Plan will perform live at the Idea Live Arena on 21 November 2026, marking the band’s first appearance in Malaysia in three years, following their 2023 ‘Harder Than It Looks’ tour. The Kuala Lumpur date is also the first stop Simple Plan will make in Asia on this tour, before they head on to Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, Surabaya, and Hong Kong. The world tour wraps up on 19 December in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The concert is part of the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations, making it a particularly milestone-heavy night for long-time fans. Canadian pop-punk artist LØLØ will also be joining Simple Plan on the road as their opening act.

Tickets are available across five categories, with prices ranging from RM288 for Cat 3 all the way up to RM538 for Cat 1. In between, you have GA Standing at RM358, Cat 2 at RM388, and Rockzone at RM448. Tickets can be purchased via Ticket Melon and Fantopia’s official website.

There are two buying windows to be aware of. General sale follows the next day on 5 May from 11 AM MYT onwards, open to everyone without a code. If you want the best shot at securing your preferred category, signing up for the artist pre-sale is worth doing sooner rather than later.

Attending the show also means contributing to something beyond the music. As part of the tour, USD1 from every ticket and VIP package sold will go directly to the Simple Plan Foundation. Founded in 2005, the foundation supports young people in need and champions music as a means of self-expression and purpose, and to date it has raised over USD3 million for charitable causes worldwide.
