Meritorious students and their parents being honoured at the Shah Satnam Ji Girls School in Sirsa.

An impressive performance by students in the CBSE and Haryana Board examinations was celebrated in schools of Sirsa district today.

At Shah Satnam Ji Girls School, Vandita Kaswan secured 99.6 per cent in humanities to top Haryana and bag second rank at the national level in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 examination. Another student of the school, Ritika, scored 99.4 per cent and bag second spot in the state. The school organised a felicitation ceremony on Thursday to honour the achievers. Principal Sheela Poonia congratulated the students and distributed sweets. The meritorious students were welcomed with garlands and honoured on the stage amid applause from fellow students.

Meanwhile, Delhi Public School reported a 100 per cent Class 12 result. Manveen scored 94.8 per cent in humanities, Sanvi secured 93.2 per cent in commerce and Anshul scored 90.2 per cent in science stream.

At Government Senior Secondary School Sahuwala-II, students secured the top three positions in Nathusari Chopta block in the Haryana Board Class 12 examination. Preeti topped with 96 per cent marks, while Nisha and Diya secured 95.8 per cent and 95.4 per cent, respectively.

Government Senior Secondary School Phoolkan saw 18 students securing merit positions in Class 12 exam and eight in Class 10 examination.

Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School achieved a 98 per cent pass result in the Haryana Board Class 10 examination, with seven students making it to the merit list.
