LAHAD DATU: Police arrested six local men and seized 6.68 grams of syabu following separate operations in Kampung Sabah Baru, Kampung Puyut, Kampung Panji, Kampung Sungai Bikis and Felda Sahabat 39.
District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner of Police Dzulbaharin Ismail said the suspects aged between 30 and 62 were held following the Op Tapis, RCJ and Op Poket carried out by the Narcotic Crime Investigation Department and Cenderawasih Narcotic Unit.
“Urine tests conducted found four of the suspects were positive of Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.
“The team also seized some drug abuse equipment during the operation. All the drugs seized were estimated worth RM734.80,” he said.
Dzulbaharin said all the suspects were currently remanded for investigation under Section 39A(1), Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
