Six injured in Lahad Datu crash

LAHAD DATU: Six people were injured in an accident involving a Perodua Bezza, a Nissan Grand Livina and Proton Persona at Jalan Sri Perdana, here, Friday night.

State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson in a statement said five of the injured victims are the driver and passengers of Perodua Bezza while another victim was the driver of Nissan Grand Livina. The driver and two other passengers in Proton Persona escaped unhurt.

A team of Fire and Rescue personnel from Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue station rushed to the scene in a fire engine and EMRS vehicle upon receiving a distress call at 8.42pm via MERS999.

Upon arrival, all the victims have been taken out by the public and sent to Lahad Datu Hospital for treatment.
