
SEMPORNA: Six people were injured when a Toyota Vios and a Perodua Aruz collided on Jalan Kalumpang, at 9.15am, Saturday.
According to Semporna Fire and Rescue Station Chief Madzlan Sarman, the injured, aged from 11 to 43, comprised three men, two women and an 11-year-old boy.
“They were given first aid by the Fire and Rescue’s Emergency Medical Response Services Unit as well as medical officials before being sent to the hospital,” he said.
He said six personnel were dispatched to the area some 45km away following a 9.22am distress call.
The operation ended at 11.11am after the team made sure there was no other dangers at the scene.
