Kota Kinabalu: Six water houses at Jalan Tanjung Aru Lama in Sembulan were razed in an afternoon fire on Wednesday.
The fire department said volunteer firemen demolished up to 80 per cent of an adjoining house to stop the spread of the fire.
More than 60 firemen from four stations as far as Tuaran were deployed to the scene.
