- She initially established the world record with an average solve time of 4.52 seconds before rapidly improving her record to 4.27 seconds.
- Lian is now recognised as the only female speedcuber in the world to maintain an average solving time of under 4.5 seconds.
- Her achievement follows intensive training over the past year, during which she spent two to three hours daily mastering more than 1,300 solving algorithms.
- To help develop her extraordinary talent, her parents took her to Shanghai so she could train under professional coaches.
