SK Bangkalalak to host Beaufort Sports Championship 2025

BEAUFORT: Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bangkalalak has been selected to host the 53rd Sports Championship in 2025.

SK Bentuka Headmaster, Osman Pudin, told Daily Express that SK Padas Damit, which co-hosted the 2024 Sports Championship with SK Bentuka, officially handed over the event flag to SK Bangkalalak, marking them as the next organisers.

During the last MSSZG 2024 Sports Championship held at the Beaufort Sports Complex, SK Padas Damit emerged as the overall champion, followed by SK Lupak and SK Bentuka in second and third respectively.

Meanwhile, the 52nd Gadong Zone Schools Sports Council (MSSZG) Committee was officially dissolved after the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting at SK Padas Damit.

Read more The rotation of event organisers was also decided during a recent meeting of the Gadong Zone Primary School Headmasters Association (PGBM), which also addressed the appointment of hosts for other sports events, including football, handball, netball, sepak takraw and archery.

SK Bentuka Headmistress Faridah Marusin and Osman thanked everyone involved for their unwavering support, which contributed to the success of the 52nd MSSZG Sports Championship.

The MSSZG meeting was attended by headmasters, including SK Bangkalalak Headmistress Siti Guntok, as well as the Assistant Senior Curriculum Officer and sports teacher.
