Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos insists he's happy calling Gareth Bale a teammate.
The No.11 is often criticised for spending most of his downtime on a golf course, but the Real Madrid captain doesn't see it as an issue.
Ramos also mentioned the contributions Bale has made in Real Madrid's recent successes.
"Regardless of what he does in his personal life, we should respect him and not talk about it," Ramos said to the Daily Mail.
"We're all free to do what we want with our free team.
"Of course you owe it to your team, your club and yourself to be as honest as possible, then everyone goes home with a clear conscience or not."
Speaking about his on-field impact, Ramos had little doubts about his significance.
"I think Bale's been a great player and really important in the time he's spent with us," he said.
