Skepta has called out the “grown men” crowding North West during a recent trip to Paris.
The 13-year-old daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian visited the French capital to attend Paris Fashion Week recently.
Videos of North have since circulated online, which show several older men getting close to the teenager.
One man, in particular, appeared to make the aspiring musician uncomfortable when he grabbed her for a hug after North offered him a handshake. Another man draped his arm over her shoulder.
Seemingly in response to the clips, British rapper Skepta, 43, said the behaviour made him “sick” in a post shared to X on Saturday (27 June).
“My fans know I try to stay out of people’s business, but damn the way grown men, complete strangers, try to use North makes me sick,” he wrote followed by several vomiting emojis.
One person commented under the “Shutdown” rapper’s tweet: “Is hugging a social offence now?”
“What are you talking about?!” responded Skepta. “She is 13 years old and she put her hand out for a handshake, you don’t ignore that. I can’t believe some of these replies to my tweet.”

He also included a crying emoji in his response, and in another post, spoke about the importance of reading body language.
“School teaching French, German & English when really the language most people need to f***ing learn is ‘Body Language’,” he said.
In response to another person who suggested that North’s “piercings” and “outlook” means that she “basically skipped being a teenager”, Skepta said: “WOW!! Protect your kids people. Protect your kids!”

North made headlines last week when she debuted a new look, including several facial piercings, at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 fashion show in Paris.
Earlier this month it was announced that North is following in her father’s musical footsteps and embarking on her first concert tour.
The 14-date tour, which follows the May release of her debut album N0rth4evr, will see her joined by singer-songwriter Molly Santana, who featured on Drake’s recent album Iceman.
North is the oldest daughter of the Skims founder and the controversial “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper, who split in February 2021 after seven years together.
The former couple continue to co-parent North, as well as their three other children: sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, six, and eight-year-old daughter Chicago.
